At HelloTech, the digital product organization of HelloFresh, there are over 70 different nationalities represented. Most of the people on the team have relocated from any number of countries. These articles were not only a tool to promote the work of some of our colleagues (Burçin, Imran, and myself) but also to allow potential hires to see themselves in the company. Anecdotally, many people have commented that these articles contributed to their accepting an offer from HelloFresh.
Talks
More recently, I was selected to speak at Halo Design (Krakow, Poland) in September 2018. I spoke about the process of transforming HelloFresh’s digital organization as it began relatively removed from customer feedback, through being closely connected.
I was invited to speak at the London CX Meetup hosted by Usabilla and Chattermill in April 2018 where we discussed the voice of the customer strategy at HelloFresh and how we've been able to leverage it to drive projects that deliver quantifiable improvements for both our customers and our business.
In November 2017 I was invited to give a workshop with Resilient Coders, an organization which is spreading code literacy to young people from traditionally underserved communities. We hosted a session around collaborative ideation. We walked through the process from warm ups, to rapid ideation, and concluding with a concept prioritization map.
