Reexamining the Everyday
A book which walks people through seeing everyday food items in a new light.
The book contains 8 different fruit and vegetables that were thinly sliced and photographed to capture details that are usually overlooked. A full-bleed solid-colored page precedes a full-bleed photo. The color chosen for this page is selected from the photo it precedes. In the solid-colored page, there is a letter cut-out guiding the user to reexamine what they see behind the window. Once they turn the page, more of the image is revealed.
Here I have included the pages of the book, however the objective of the book is closely tied to its print medium.
